On this blog you can find recipes, pieces or writing and short poems, excerpts and summaries from my favourite books, travels tips and food, coffee and wine venue recommendations and ‘cuttings’ from things I’ve learnt in my food, health or wellbeing research adventures.

I hope this space on the internet can be a ‘whole of life’ repository, of story-telling and shared information to nourish you. If not, at least it’s a therapeutic outlet for me.

Regularly I am reading blog posts or recipes about food/gut related info. Dr Google is how we navigate this day and age afterall. So what my content will represent is the melting pot of my health and cooking journey – low-FODMAP, gluten free, low-carb, mostly refined sugar free and wholefoods. Almost every single time I am making adjustments or substitutions to accommodate this (luckily I enjoy this). Whilst low-FODMAP is becoming more common, following the trendy big sister of gluten-free, those recipes are rarely also low-carb. Same goes for low-carb recipes, they often need low-FODMAP substitutes. So, you’ll find here a replica of my kitchen and our plates. I’m taking what I’ve altered and re-sharing it back on the internet. Maybe it’s of use to you.
